- For best results, ensure that the end of the hair section is securely held under the lever or in the direction of the desired wave.
- Wind the tong up towards the root or as far up the hair section to create movement and waves in the hair.
- Hold the tong in the hair for five to eight seconds and then press the lever to release the hair. Carefully slide the tong out of the hair.
