- For tighter waves, wrap small sections of hair tightly around the barrel and hold in place for a few seconds.
- For looser waves wrap wider sections of hair around the barrel.
- For best results point the barrel downwards.
- For a modern, casual look don’t wrap the hair around the barrel from the root – leave the top two inches of the hair straight instead.
- For a more beachy, casual look, run your fingers through the waves to break them up
