Ok, I road tested this at the weekend and thought I'd report back. As someone who's been cutting their own hair for years I can concur with Rik - this is actually a great product.
You do have to make sure it's pressed against your head (though not too hard) and go over you head a few times to make sure you don't miss any bits but if you use it correctly it delivers excellent results. I did mine on the No2 setting and have to say it looked better afterwards than when I used my Wahls so top marks! It gives your head a bit of a massage too! Recommend

• Easy Cut is designed to maintain short styles and is not suitable for layering and/or grading.
• For best results, start cutting at the back of the head and, with a sweeping motion, run from the back to the front of your head. Repeat across the whole head.
• Then go over the whole head in small circular motions to ensure a perfectly even finish.
• Don't worry if, when you start cutting your hair, some hairs are left long whilst other are cut short: this is normal, especially with longer hair.
• Easy Cut is designed to be used in every direction so remember to use this feature to ensure a great cut all over.
• For a professional finish, use the trimmer to tidy up your neckline and sideburns.
• The Easy Cut is so easy to use, but before you do anything you must take your time to charge the unit for 16hrs before its first use. Even if you want to use it plugged in straight from the mains, this initial super-charge ensures optimum power performance to give smooth fast cutting every time.
