- Towel and rough dry the hair to remove excess moisture.
- Section your hair.
- Adjust the tension control on the side of the straightening attachment. Setting one is the lowest tension and setting four is the highest. Start with the first setting to test out which suits your hair best. If your hair is not being gripped between the straightening plates, increase the tension until you get a good grip on the hair.
- Holding the end of the hair section with one hand, place the attachment into the hair near to the root, ensuring that the detangling comb goes into the hair first.
- Glide the straightening attachment down the hair.
